A&Q about 350Z

Yea So I went to go look at alot of the pictures from the MSA show on their site, and in the autocross pictures theres ALOT of cars that arent even there! I dont see My buddys 77 turbo, I dont see Tony's Fairlady, I dont se franks 260 he was driving I dont see my car, etc. Oh but they have about 10 plain white z 32's that you cant even tell apart! And in the show portion of the pictures I dont see my buddys 77 turbo car or McAdams zx. I mean, you pay all this money, drive thousands of miles, get up at 4 am to be at these events early, and when you get home to sit back and look at pictures of your car at the event, and show others, your cars are not even shown. Thats BS IMHO. They should have EVERYONES car that attended EACH and EVERY event. I mean, On the Show portion of the pics, they have some red first gen car shown like 15 freaking times on the last page from all different angles, but no pics of alot of other cars. Not fair, in my oppinion.

I heard from quite a few people that they wont be going to another MSA yearly event again. I know alot of people that went previous years and didnt go this year and after seeing the pictures (and in reference to 1 Fasts post "not seeing pictures") they commented they didnt miss a whole lot.
Its the type of show you can go to about every 5 or so years and be fine with seeing new stuff and things.
It seems the "more fun" things to do and participate in are away from the actual Sunday show.

well it is all part of the show, the Banquette, we went to the drags instead of teh casino. the driving school, and then the show to chill and chat..

I have to really admire and commend the guys that made the time and worked out all the details that made it from Holland this year. Its easy enough to drive a couple hundred miles to the get together, but that is extrodinaire!

1980 280zx with a mildly ported N47 maxima head, 60mm TB, -C- stamp 256 degree camshaft, and a 2.5inch mandrel bent exhaust. yeah, its quick, and yeah, its a 2+2. NOW with MSandS_E power!

Try Branson Z Fest next year! Not as many cars, but a lot of fun. They have the show, twisty cruises through the hills (absolutely awesome, you could easily loose your lunch!), 1/4 mile drags, and other misc stuff packed in between. Check out www.bransonzfest.com for the basic event info from early this year. If you go, you won't be dissapointed! This is an event that is growing fast. This was the first year I was able to make it, and I won't miss it in the following years. This year was only year 4 and the car counts are almost doubling each year. I think we had 150+ cars at the last one. There were people from ny, michigan, arizona, and all over. It wasn't just a midwest event.

They still go back and forth between looking fine ad looking really messed up! I think the springs are semi-collapsed. Probably a result of a few years of pulling trailers and long road trips loaded down with lots of crap.
within the next few months, I plan on coilovers. that will help a LOT to get some stiffer springs back there. also, Im slotting my trailing arm bolts to allow for toe in and camber adjustments with eccentric bolts. that will help a bit as well!

last i heard over 650 in the show and 150 turned away. that was from the guys at the desk at motorsport.
