Well, not really me and my car.
The first pic is me hard at work programming MegaSquirt (not really, as you can see, I only have about 8 resistors on the board).
And this is my car immediately post-"turbo swap". Check out the yellow racing stripe on my intercooler piping.

Boardkid,
The laptop you are programming your Megasquirt with is a Dell Latitude D600, isn't it?
Sorry, no pics of the Z. It's at my uncle's house about an hour and 45 minutes away, but to give you an idea, I can do the same to mine at the moment as PrOxLaMuS can do to his in his picture. :(
No drivetrain.
God must love stupid people, he made SOOOOO many of them!

A:

That's correct Mike, that's my university issued Dell Latitude D600. Having graduated 2 weeks ago I purchased it for $350. Not a bad price I would say. It came with Windows XP, full MS Office and a few other pieces of software. And of course all my megatune settings. :-)

boardkid,
HAHAHAHA! I knew it. My personal laptop is also a D600. My work laptop is a D610... I do laptop support for Direct Insurance and we work exclusively with Dell (specifically the D600 and D610 models) now (we used to have the IBM thinkpads), so it has gotten really easy to recognize them. And you got a damn good deal on that laptop. They are really good laptops, but just a little on the flimsy side and also be careful, they are notorious for the hard drives going out. Mine went out a little over a year ago and I've had two users with D600s hard drives crash this week.
God must love stupid people, he made SOOOOO many of them!
