i bought the one from autozone...powerbuilt i think...2 stands and the 3 ton floor....get the heavy duty one for the garage...i've seen those cheap aluminum buckle and break before.

Just bought a 3-ton (with the twist handle) from Sears, $55.

get one with the twist handle! i have both - the twist handle type and the little screw thing that you turn with pliers to let it down and the twist handle is a million times easier to use. other than that make sure it will fit under your car when down. my big twist handle one is actually one and a half in. lower than the one i got from auto zone that had the two jack stands. the auto zone one is smaller and can fit in the car but the bigger one is much easier to use and fits under the car better.

Mike,
For what it is worth, you might want to consider how high the jack is in its lowest position. I bought the low profile ones so I could get them under my Z since it is lowered. Just a thought.

A:
The aluminum works well on my Z.But it can't lift my Cummins Ram.Get one from Sears as it has a better warrantee.I'll bet you'll be using it.
