That picture give me the creeps. I always throw my metal ramps under the tires whenever I'm under the car, plus the jackstands of course just to be sure.

That KwikLift looks great, until you have to take your wheels off, and there's a large metal object in the garage that you used to put your Z on jackstands in...
Seriously, 7 out of 10 times the Z goes in the air, the wheels come off.

I'm guilty of that...Lowered the jack and watched them sink. Not sure how the jack got the car up without sinking either.

yup I used them on dirt. But I also had wood blocks, wheels and also the jack under the car and holding it up. No way I would risk it fallin on me.
Funny how they deem those garage pits dangerous.. seems like flames, fluids and pits are dangerous but not pits.

I've got a quick lift and would consider it a valuable safety investment.
The quick lift is avalible with steel "bridges" so you can take the tires and weels off. The first big project I did with my lift was replacing all the rear bushings on the Scarab. It was so much easier that doing it lying on your back with the car on jack stands. Exhaust removal, drive shaft removal etc. I went ahead and got 2 bridges so I could get the whole car up in the air all at once.
