george (la260z), and i ran out cars today at funday sunday in bithlo. we ran the $700 81'turbo, and my ZXT... the 2 parts cars into one.
on the first run.. i was pinging... and couldnt shift past 3500rpms... and ran a 17.5...
on the next run... george ran a 15.6, and i ran a 15.9 (played with timing).
and on the third run... here are our results (provided the track temp. was ridiculious...)

george's car is on 9psi, with the climate control vac leak somewhere, and my car is running like 8 or 9 psi, with a 2.5in exhuast.
not bad for pretty much stock ZXT's, one auto, one 5spd, on a seriously hot day (track temps like 140 or something like that...)
and i noticed that my car i reeeeeeealy rich... and i think i have a bit of blue smoke... damnit.

glad the turbo is running good for you. i had thought about it forever but am still not sure about converting my 82 NA. i'm getting close to your times with a 10.05 1/8 at 69 but oh well. maybe i'll hit the strip one weekend soon but autox is next weekend. good luck

yeah.. im going to a night drag to see if i can pick up anymore time..
that was my 3rd run ever at a track... so theres room for improvement!
i just need to get my tuned... badly. i just dont know of any Z guys in orlando who would know how to tune the car...
