A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I am looking at buying a house in which there is not a detached garage to put the Z cars. The basement is going to be the place that I store and work on the cars until I build a detached garage. What I need to know is what concrete sealant/paint/epoxy have you tried and the results. Was it easy to apply? How did it hold up to solvents and oils? What about floor jacks and jack stands tearing up the surface?
Thanks.

I used the rustoleum kit you can get at Home Depot. It has held up great so far. I drag jack stands around it all the time, plus I've spilled everything I know of on it as well. Still looks good after 3 years. I did put a little sand in when I rolled it though to add traction when it's wet. I had a bad experience on a wet epoxy floor and ended up on my butt. The sand is embedded in the paint so it doesn't come up and it adds just enough traction to keep it from getting slippery.

I used Gray (color) POR15 and 1 gal. ($99.00) covered my single car garage floor. It stands up to everything, keeps moisture from coming through and cleans up great.

Hey man I do commercial floor coating and use Rustoleum Products but there kit you buy at Lowes called Epoxy sheild is a water based product and sucs it will come up I have a listing on E-Bay but the shipping on this stuff is cost prohibitive you can find a local rustoleum dealer and get the same product from them it is tough as nails and will stand up to anything.
Hope I could help.

Thanks for the info. I am looking into the rustoleum product. Maybe I can find a local distributor.
