I don't know the history of my E-31 head and since I'm replacing a blown head gasket how can I tell if the seats were changed to steel, also MSA offers to install new seals, hardened seats, 3 way grind the valves, a new cam and surface the head for about $570.00 plus shipping The car smokes a little at startup but otherwise runs fine so maybe I should replace the gasket and forget the rest except the the amount of work to get to that head gasket makes me want to take care of anything I can get to while I can get to it. Any thoughts on which way to go? Thanks in advance. Ken
