Jus curious what is the best Octane to put in my 87 Turbo at 13 psi of boost (not sure if thats relavent) ?

Probably the highest you can buy would be best. 92 or 93 minimum.

I have an 88 Z31T. With 91 I can run 12 psi without knock in the winter in AZ. Summer I have to drop it to 10 psi. So I'd say 91 minimum. 91 is the highest you can get here.

Actually I've wondered about the suitability of avgas before. The typical aviation stuff is "100LL"........100 octane, "low-lead". Also avgas is held to higher standards of purity and quality than normal pump gas. I'm pretty sure the engine itself would love it (in fact I've known some folks in the past who've run avgas in their cars), but would the lead content be damaging to emissions components?

The lead will foul out the o2 sensor and the catalytic converter over time.
