where are you?
call a body shop and find out who their supplier is, you should be able to get it from one of those.

I think sandpaper of that grit is generally used by hand on final preparation for either one of the primer coats, or wet sanding between final color coats, not DA sanders.....I may be wrong.

In a DA it would clog really fast. Usually used for wet sanding between color and clear and between clears.

Ive seep body shops da with 600 grit before final polishing.
I have seen 1000 grit for das also. Its been a while but when I was in that line of work 3m gold was the **** to get, pricey but worth every penny for high end work. Usually though 1000 grit is used for wet sanding but a lot of people prefer to dry da.
I just used up the last of my 360 grit and used some crap from the home improvement store, what a difference in quality.

The best comes from a company called SIS. It's expensive and you will have to order it but this is all I use on Plexyglass Aquariums.
