old fashioned or not, you have to appreciate the effort that went into building that gold 260Z V8 car pictured above. after all, this is Hybrid Z ,and in case anyone was wondering.....it took first place in Modified 260Z division. so there must have been a few that thought it was Bad to the Bone!!!!

That gold Z with the skull on the hood is quite a sight. Amazing what some people will build when they are bored and dont care what it looks like when finished. I bet the 10 year old kids loved it.

The show was again quite an event! Each car tailored to the taste of the owner, one of the reasons I love going. If I went to a show and saw multiple versions of my design I would be quite disappointed. Who wins doesn't even really matter, the voting method could use some refinement if you ask me. I am sure those that spend hundreds of hours and thousands of hours would like to have their effort appreciated but that doesn't happen much at peoples choice based car shows.
The bottom line was that the cars were great, the weather was great, and I got to steal a bunch of new ideas I would like to try. : )

I don't know if I'll be out of farming next year or not. If I am I'm going. Pics just can not do justice to the feel of being there. But nice to see them,the pics,when you can not go.

I have a friend in KY that complained how lame the people there were, and how terrible their car shows were, and how "this idiot in the street pulled a wheelie in his ZX and blew out the front shocks when the struts bottomed?"
My reply: "What did you have at the show? And what do you have that will pull a wheelie?"
Some people will criticize because they simply have never done it, and find it easy to pick up stones and throw them.
