Got the Z back together last month. I decided to change the rear end also since my old one had been abused for 9 years and I though it might break sometime at the track..........then I went and broke the replacement on my 2nd week at the track. You know what they say "If it ain't broke don't fix it!"

correct, the forum is private to keep web crawlers and would be researchers from trying to check up on us... it's private so the information within stays sealed untill after the show.
nothing personal to other Z guys, we'd really like to go totally public with it, cause god knows we need the publicity and donations, however we can't chance the people were racing getting the upper hand on us.

Apparently I am an a$$hole for sharing anything but not everything at all about our Bonneville Adventures, while keeping things tightly under wraps for the exact same reason is O.K.

Wish you guys all the luck in the world. But don't cry about lack of donations after you flamed people asking simple questions about accountability and payback when you first solicited! You made your bed, don't cry about having to work in the soup you made...
That last part will probably be misinterpreted, but it's my opinion, and since I was the one flamed, I can voice it. I just thought it was nice to see someone independently explain the rationale behind not throwing every bit of information out there all at once when in competition was a good one, and the sign of someone in serious competition. And it just happened to mesh nicely with an earlier point.
