Blue's CLUES................

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

OK, apparently the last one was toooooo EZ.....so try this......
For a short time, Chevrolet (amongst others) built a car with a vertical mounted starter.
Here's a shot of an engine with a vertical mount starter.....
this is NOT a Chevrolet, it's a Caddy.........
(Sorry - big pic)
Notice the vertical teeth around the edge of the flywheel.........
Anyway, some trivia..........BUT
The question is...........
The Chevrolet mentioned was the precursor to the Corvair........
WHAT WAS IT???? What year? How was it different, and what metal did it use?
Sorry, can't say too much more............................

Just another GM lemon. BTW it was called "Copper cooled." So awful that the few cars sold were all recalled and scrapped...except for 2 in museums - Harrah's and Ford (!).
Rusty but running.
Polish cell phone and two tubes of Aluma-seal.
And, now we are historic.

Not only that, you had to pour a beer into the crankcase just to get it started! Waste of good beer, I say.
