you two have never burned out in your Z's???
its madddd fun!
but my justification is that my diffy is gone, and well everything else is sound... new u-joints everywhere... so why not??
no damage to the car... minus the punishment to the tires...!

heres the whole setup.
L28 (n42/n47)
cleaned up head (not hardcore ported.. just cleaned up casting crap)
dished pistons (crapy)
ported intake
weber 60mm tb
k&n in the airbox
msa 6-1 w/ 2.5in exhuast.. 18in glasspack, and flowmaster 40 in the rear
36deg. total timing
timing chain on #3
new injectors, afm (junkyard special), and other redone stock crap.
pretty much lame... but its all tuned. ive spent a looong time just tinkering and fine adjusting here and there to give it what its got.. and aside from needing valve guide seals, and flattop pistons... im pretty happy with it... and manage to still get 26mpg on the highway (filled tank, drove, and topped back off!)

Slap the N-47 on some flat tops... it really feels like a different car. Add a light cam and it will pull to 6 not just bogging out at 5. It is worth it. Of course i had the chance to do it because i was doing a full rebuild and it was during the winter when i dont drive my car. If yours is a daily driver you may think twice before tearing it apart.
My Winter driver, somehow I miss that car a little...
