A&Q about 350Z

I have a '76 280Z and would like a pin on fiberglass hood w\3 inch reverse cowl scoop. MSA sells one but is asking too much$. I have found a couple of different companies that have them as well but I haven't found anybody in the Z world that has delt with them. I would rather support a fellow Z owner. I know somebody around here was making them. I just haven't found the post yet.
I kinda smushed my front end about 6 mo. ago I'm finally fixing it!!!
about 6hrs work later and the headlight bucket is welded on this time..
I wonder where those faded gold parts came from??

Nice work. Any trouble with warpage on the headlight bucket or fender when you were welding?

no problems at all. I just had to make shure the valley between the 2 was ultra clean then spot weld. after that I welded up the entire valley. did some grinding and bondo. I still have to do a LOT of work to get the fender line back. got some waves and valleys where the worst creases were. If I can't get the line to look clean I'm gona cheat and get some CF flares.

Last time I looked he has it for race or with backing for a normal mounting. The lines follow the stock hood lines and has a two inch Cowl Induction on it with stock 77-78 vent holes also. I got mine from him years ago...
