A&Q about 350Z

My buddy works part time at at JY and every now and then the owner gives him a trashed car for him and the rest of the guys to get it running and take it to the 1/8 mile track.
This time it was a 240sx twin cam. We stripped the inside got a couple tires off other junked cars, gave it a used parts tune up, some gas and off to the track we went. Its ten dollars and you can race whatever you bring, bikes, 4 wheelers, cars... etc
Did I mentioned the NOS 125 shot? Keep in mind this is set up a few hours before the race. Catastrophic failure after six passes. It was fun and almost free. Next month is a honda CRX. Best time 9.88 @ 70something MPH. I think it was 78, not sure. It could have been faster but had to turn NOS on/off by hand between shifts. Sorry for the quality, these are phone photos

Nothing like being able to race a car you don't give a sh!t about.
There is something very satisfying about bringing something to it's breaking point.

You are absolutely right IcemanD240. I kind of felt bad for a second because I know that there's probably somebody out there that could have used something out of this car and there we were ruining it. I got over that really quick since the boss said I could keep the tranny, for my swap, you know.
