I didnt think it was a LSD,cause its got 3.36 gears in it and i can do 45 MPH in 1st gear at like 7000 RPMs
and I didnt thing they made a 3.36 LSD?

easiest way I know of to see if it's an LSD or not, leave it in gear with both rear tires off the ground, spin one wheel, if it turns really hard before the other tire turns in the opposite direction, it's an LSD, if it freewheels and the other tire goes in the opposite direction very easily, it's open. clear as mud?
I don't think anything in the US came with a 3.36 LSD, but someone could have installed the gears into an LSD carrier.
most S30s will spin both tires in a burnout, LSD or not, coming out of a hard corner it's pretty easy to tell, as your inside tire spins

An open rear will act like a LSD if the difference in grip from one side to the other isn't much. Usually the open diff will send the power to the side with the least amount of grip (path of least resistance). If the grip was even on both sides, then the open diff will spin both wheels. Once they are spinning, they will be easy to keep spinning since there is little grip on both.
