well my friend she bought a 1990 240sx and she hasnt even hardly used it and now since she's movin to sarasota and she lives in miami she's sellin her 240 to me for the incredible price of $100 car runs nuttin wrong with it... i've driven it already it has a tune up done to it cap n rotor, spark plugs, with the wires, oil change, fuel filter,brakes and rotors done. manual with the single cam engine with 190k miles... for $100 thats gonna be project SR20 =]

Good deal but the SOHC motors do not last for long so plan the swap and plan it for as soon as you can.

my wifes SOHC 89 is at 126K, a bud has his at around 200K with mods and no smoke, kinda crazy but working at nissan they always seem to be running good even with high miles

a reason a lot of them don't last is because the timing chain wears through the guide and then the front cover if the guide hasn't been upgraded but i would definitely recommend changing the whole chain assembly about every 100K.
