A&Q about 350Z
Q:
The new BMW 335i coupe will be a twin turbocharged 3 liter inline six cylinder, making 300HP and 300lb-ft. It will not be twin-sequential turbos - each identical turbocharger will feed 3 cylinders.
I, for one, think that's awesome. Anyone else have any thoughts?

It's cool, but why are they only putting out 300hp. The M3s are doing 333hp naturally aspirated 3.3L.
Just wondering.

They need to slot it between the 330i and the new M3. The new M3 will be packing a 400hp V8.

Yeah, the new M3 will have an 8 cylinder version of the current M5's 10 cylinder 505 HP engine.

ya that is a sad power rating - but as you say it has to fit a slot though im sure with a few minor things it will make the m3 pointless

Well i dont agree most BMW sound machined mean and rev happy!... and 300 hp makes it dravable.. im sure ther is easy power to be gained there !!

Yeah, I am curious about those numbers as well, since my 05 STi puts out 300HP and 300 ft/lbs of torque with a 2.5l four cylinder with ONE turbo...a small one at that. And it still has lots more potential. So that BMW has to be seriously detuned. Yeah, it has to be. Think about it, the GTR's RB26 has only '280' HP.
