California Z peeps......
Ok...the plans. ...
Meet at Harris Ranch (Highway 198 & I-5) at 8 am. Depart Harris Ranch
at 8:30 am. That should give you stragglers enough time to get there.
We shall then proceed on Highway 198 west. Which will take us through
Coalinga then out to the best 52 miles of jaw dropping back roads. We
shall then get on 101 south towards Morro Bay. That is where Mike
Sullivan will take over as he has a super secret road to show us. We
should be in Morro Bay around noon for lunch. After lunch will be some
photo ops for us and also shopping/site seeing. Departure time will be
left open and what we would like to do afterwards once we're back.
We havent picked out a place in Morro Bay for lunch quite yet. If you
have any suggestions please post. I was personally thinking somewhere
near the Harbor Hut in that general area.
If you really like to drive your Z then this would be an awesome trip to take. Hwy 198 throught the hills from Coalinga to the 101 is a very beautiful stretch of road. Many twists and turns and plenty of hills. A great test of you and your Z.

Bummer! Morro Bay trip is a blast!
But it's on the same weekend as Historics
Laguna Seca in Monterey.

Will do. I wish I could of done the Historics this year but just didnt have the money. I just had some work done on the Z32 and it cost me what I had saved for the weekend in Monterey. So this Morro Bay trip will be my excuse to get out of Visalia for the day. TO THE BEACH I GO!
