A&Q about 350Z
Q:

So far i got these materials... i needed to get sand paper still, brushes for the resin
dent is pulled a good deal.. still needing a torch
patched the ripped metal w/ some fiberglass
and i figured why not just shaved both sidemarkers.. cheap status w/ fiberglass
did 3 layers of fiberglass on each pics only show 1 layer...
still need to torch the metal.. straighten it out more.. then bondo that sucka

Wow!! is that real metal under the paint?!?!? Amazing!! :)
Looks good... I too shaved the rear markers and then slimed the fronts... makes a nice subtle difference.

DO NOT use rustoluem primer on the car, it is incompatible with nearly all automotive paint products. Ask me how I know!
You want to use a real automotive primer, preferably one that is waterproof such as epoxy. Do your bondo work on top of that, then spray more epoxy primer to seal the bondo. You can then use a high build or 2k primer ontop of that layer to block it down with a guide coat before bc / cc or ss application.
You can buy epoxy primers and 2k primers sometimes in quantities smaller than a quart, if you have a compressor and spray gun. Otherwise, you can buy automotive primer in aerosol cans from paint stores- but they're about $10 a can, or more.

Tips:
Put it up on jack stands and pull the tank out. Pretty easy to get it out. Empty it before you try and put it back in. If you have a small sledge hammer and a heavy peice of flat steel you could make up for a dolly set. I bought my dolly set for $30 @ Harbor Freight. It works awsome, just don't let em get rusty. It would make you fix a LOT easier. Get it straight before you apply the fiber glass. Take all the dimples out. You can easily get it a lot straighter with little skill.
Remember when your done you will need to seal both sides. OR else, rust will get under through the back side. So the tank needs to come off anyway. Don't be shy the tank is easy.
Ask around @ local body shops. Find out where they buy their paint products. Small specialty shops in particular. They usually have a local source for good products. Definately get the sealing primers. And coat the metal first, add you fillers, coat over with sealing primer again then prep for base coat s.
It appears your going to have to take your car somewhere to get it repainted as that looks to be a multi stage paint job. The whole panel will need painted if you want it to match well even at a good shop! That is just how it appears in the pictures, but I could be wrong.
BTW nice Job on the blanking out the side marker!

Thanks alot for all the tips... yeah i still have alot of work to do w/ the panel before i go to bondoing... the plan was to just primer the back 1/4 of the car and possibly get rid of it locally to someone who plans on not building performance car... i didn't want a car that was full bondo and nor do i want to tear this car to bare metal... the thing that is funny is this quarter panal will have less bondo on it after im done then it did before... so i guess luckily i hit the tree? lol
I have a nice smog exempt shell that i can get my hands on... and a L28et motor just waiting for me to put in a s30 so i do kinda want to get rid of this one...
Im just glad i am getting fixing the car first instead of just leaving it dented to hell....
btw thanks for the help guys... this is my first time working w/ bondo and fiberglass so dont rag on me too much... haha

A:

some bondo work done... did alot of bondoing on the dented side... but well alot of sanding left to do so i wont show that as of now haha
still needing a little more work on the side marker but here it is...

I see a low spot. Run a strip of masking tape down the side of the car... along the body crease line so you can finish blocking out the rear end straight. Work upper, then reverse tape on line then work the bottom. Your board will stay off the tape and allow a nice straight body line and you'll see the high and low spots. Once painted, it will show if it's not straight. ;)
