A&Q about 350Z
Q:
After 4 months of blood, sweat & lots of money, my Z is finally running!!! At first I thought I screwed it up since it wont even start . Find out, I had my timing 180 degress off. Never have thought of it since I know I nailed it the first time, Oh well. So cranked her again and she fired right up! I have a rough idle due to radical cam, but there's no loud pinging at all. Her throttle responsed so perfect with a raped V8 sound. Man, I cant wait till I put the rearend in and take her up for a spin! BTW here's my set up:
3.1
P&P early E88 Head
F54 block
280sx piston
L24 Conrod
LD28 crank
ARP bolts
3x Mikuni bored and tuned by Rebello racing
280zxt flywheel
300zxt clutch
Skyline R32 Pressure plate
BW T-5 Tranny
R200 LSD
etc.
This my first time building an engine from scratch. Thanks to zcar search button, it pretty much wallked me through the whole process.
