That car soooo needs to be red with a white roof, then it would look real awesome but I suppose that would kill it's value at the same time.

That was (is) a beautiful car. I've read up on them and they were technological marvels for their time. (Auto air conditioning I believe.) I think they are one of the best examples of 50s elegance.

My Grandfather had one back in the day and it was WAY ahead of its time. He said it was his favorite car out of the 50+ he owned in his life. It had many of the features that are on todays luxury cars. Power seats with memory presets anyone?

I should get some pics of the '64 Cadillac Fleetwood Limo that is in our shop from time to time. Right now we have a '64 Dodge Custom 880, '59 Lincoln Continental, and a '68 Buick Electra that we are working on. Pretty cool cars.

I drove '60 Eldo and various other Cad. and Connie convs. briefly. Like operating a boat. Considering how big they were on the outside, they really didn't have that much room on the inside.
Rusty but running.
Polish cell phone and two tubes of Aluma-seal.
And, now we are historic.

In Houston area car shows the '59 and early '60's Cad's are very common but a '57 and earlier is rare and a treat to see.

My first ex wife's late grandmother drove a black vinyl over pink DeVille two door hardtop. The first time I rode with her, I told her her emergency brake was on. The ex said, "No, she drives with one foot on the brake!"
