I don't like the rear end much, front looks fine.
I don't really give a $hit what it looks like to be honest, this car is about performance and function. As long as it does the later, I can overlook any cosmetic bs.

I think it looks pissed off. They really cleaned up the edges on the front from the Proto, and the rear is about as clean as possible. Nissan is breaking new ground with the design of this car. Most people did not car too much for the R34 when it was released. They said it looked too boxy and big. 8 years later most people consider it one of the best looking of the later ones. When you make such a dramatic change from the status quo, it might take a bit to get adjusted to it. No matter what you think of the looks, the car will be absolutely vicious on the street. It may be calledugly by some of it's competitors, but once the GT-R bitch-slaps them up side the head, they will re-evaluate that coment.

If I remember correctly, the front end is not "open", it's black carbon fiber on that prototype. The silver one they showed later didn't have a big gaping hole in the front and looked more like the R34.

though this car is cool (kinda looks big and fat and like 4386543986lbs though) in its own way i like it as well but the rear quarters look flat like there is almost no flare to the rear wheel which i dont like but i like the rear - maybe i just need to look at some still shots

It's going to be fun in 08. I'll be done with school, money in my pocket, and some good cars to chose from. My top three right now is the GTR, the redesigned WRX STI, or the Lotus. Time will tell

ugly car very ugly,the horse power will not make up for the style of that car.should have had a more refined body smoother lines and a nicer front end.i wouldn't pay 70-80k for that piecer.i'm usualy pretty optamistic when it comes to our sister cars but man that thing is ugly!

There is a video of the car running on the Nurburgring and that seem pretty quick, it Shifts between gear were ******* faster that than hell. so yes it would mean its running some kind of DSG like transmission,there was a part where it the exhaust blipped and those flames looked so cool!

The rumored price was 85K in standard package. Of course there will probably be 3 different packages. The other rumor is it will not be under the Nissan line it will be Infiniti. This is what I heard from a Nissan rep that is at the Motor Trend show this weekend in Las Vegas.

they coined that phrase long ago, that 'moron' was just parroting it regarding left-hand drive. at least the states does not require draconian measures like converting a vehicle to lhd just to be street legal--who makes the laws saying you gotta have 'correct-hand drive' before you can even drive the car in their country? not here!
