that are most likely in the search,,,i been lookin for about and hour now,,,found some, but no for sure answer,,,on my 83 280zx turbo,,i wanna take the egr valve off, would this mess anything up,,and i also have been wondering about my fuel pressure regulator,,i need more fuel..I did find one fuel pressure regulator online but it was like 200 some odd dollars. i heard of makin a fuel pressure regulator outta lawn mower parts??Got it up to 9psi..I'm wanting to increase my boost,,,,wonder if i'll ever get enough boost,,,i heard it was addicting

Firstly what are your reasons for wanting to remove the EGR? By blocking off the EGR some say it can cause issues, others say it doesn't. With the stock computer I would think that all it does is create an overly rich situtation. Ive had the EGR removed on my 86T with no ill effects besides running a bit richer than normal, which for me personally is a good thing at the moment but for a stock car, it's pointless.
You say you need more fuel? Well leave the FPR alone, if you buy an adjustable FPR just to increase the base fuel pressure you're only going to crap out your fuel pump. If you want more fuel, buy a 255lph fuel pump, bigger injectors and then a computer to control them.

upgrade your injectors and run a stand alone fuel management system to start with, MS, SDS, Haltech and so on. Read up on turbo ugrading before you waste money you don't need to spend!
