A&Q about 350Z
Q:
im looking at picking up these wheels that look like enki 92's, but are 16's and have a niiiice lip.
the only 92's ive seen are 15in., and there were no adaptors on the wheels... they were on a 240z.
ill find out later how much the guy wants, he wasnt home.
who makes a 16in. mesh wheel for our cars? i cant figure it out.
the only bad thing is that only 3 were on the car, so ill see if theres a 4th. if not, ill put 2 with sick tires on the back of the car, for the camber + lip (yes, im lowering the car more).

Riken
Enkie
BBS
Epsilon
I have the enkie 15x8's and would love to have some 16x8's as well. The Rikens I've seen have a more open mesh like the epsilon's with a very nice lip. I'm always looking for these wheels.

well ill let you know if i get them or not.
if there are only 3, im getting them anyways, and slapping 2 on the back, and am going to try to find the last one... or sell the 3.
*edit*
they look just like these, but black and a nicer lip.

Guys, check out takumiproject.com - they have some nice wheels. Some are a little pricey, but most of the four lugs would fit a Z. (My apologies, I haven't figured out how to post links yet - I'll search)

Lots of cars have that lug pattern and can find more than 2 wheel variations for it. It was just a suggestion anyway, dont ya'll start having a cry now just because I made a simple suggestion.

not really anything to cry about...
an s30 sitting on RS Watanabes/swatsticas/all the variations of the six spokes/enkei 92's/ mags/5 spokes/work wheels/and anything on the link in the site looks better than lots of modern wheels... especially the ones that use adapeters and go on civics...
we just like the look... just as you z31, z32, and z33 guys like the generic look of your stock wheels, or some random 17-20 inch rim.
no biggie really.

I'm not saying they're bad wheels, I happen to like the example shown. I was just saying that most people choose the same wheel for datsuns.

Yeah I see your point, a known look is a sure thing but something unique is also cool if you get a nice combination happening.
I think most Z's I've seen look good with stock rims, some better than others but for modified rides it's always nice to change the wheels up a bit. I know it's going to take me ages to choose good wheels for my 86 when I get around to it.
I think the best thing to do is to find a few wheels that will fit, and if possible try to test fit them all and compare. Hard to do when purchasing a second hand set, but with new ones I think that's the way to do it!
