A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I have a 280Z which is my daily driver.
I know that 240Z have carbs, are lighter but that's it...
Is there anything that I need to look at when buying a 1973 240 (other than the usual stuff on a 280)?

rust! the 240 is a whole different animal compared to the 280.they don't drive the same,they don't run the same.the comfort level is different.when buying check for the dreaded exaust fumes.i love the 240's and have a 71 currently.to each his own but it always looked much better than my 78 280 sitting in the garage.yeah i would buy it! we can tell you all the pro's and cons of owning a 240.until you have one of your own and are driving it a couple of times a week you won't realy know.good luck and enjoy the addiction.

1972 240z w/L28, tokico shocks and springs, and a 5 speed waiting. Also running high performance ultra mega blinker fluid, that's at least an extra 50hp to the wheels.
1987 Toyota Supra Turbo 5-speed. Belongs to me until my friend get's back from Iraq.

Yes, you will love it! As far as what to look out for, check for rust and get under it and check frame rails.
