I'm looking to get a new set of seats for my dime and I would like to know what seat upgrades everyone here has, and how they enjoyed them. I am not looking for a bucket, I need a reclining seat that will be good for weekend driving. I'm looking at buying one of the seats in the link below, so if anyone has experience with that seat, I would appreciate the help. Thanks alot.

The APC seats have a big APC logo on the headrest. A visable APC logo on a Z = bad.(or any car for that matter)

I'm not sure if they will fit but I've heard good things from the DAD seats, and they appear to fit in a Z.

Go to a local junk yard and pull the seats from nearly ANY late model (90's +) Honda or Acura.
If you can get some from a Civic SI or Type-S Acura, you'll get really good side bolsters as well.
Typically can be had for under $100 each, sometimes even less and they are light years ahead of the stock seats.

I believe it was Corbeau that makes a relinable racing seat. Black, clean, only has the company name sewn in very small. Only catch is $300/each.
1972 240z w/L28, tokico shocks and springs, and a 5 speed waiting. Also running high performance ultra mega blinker fluid, that's at least an extra 50hp to the wheels.

i have the corbeau GTS II seats. They are all black with no logo on them. I get a lot of complimants about them. They are reclineable and are fairly comfortable. I am getting new ones though. I need something where i am sunk down a little and it has more thigh support.
