i could be wrong but i think saturn is gonna have a winner with the sky redline - there may be some problems at first as its not really saturns place being GM eco used to there 4 door 4cyl FF platform - but i have been looking into th sky redline hopefully a good breakout for saturn 2 seater RWD! with a Turbo (about time for GM with there stupid supercharged 4cyl) - ill be whatching for it and cant wait for some ppl to get owned by a saturn - that will be some funny **** - i think thats what really does it for me "ha you just got beat by a saturn"
should have decent power to weight almost has a lotus look to it kinda if you look at it while thinking lotus really hard :P
RWD with lsd (dont know if its standared or option)
only 5spd no 6 but o well
should swing pretty nice

i dont know what your at with chrysler - are you refering to the crossfire? if so they look allright but who wants a mercedes molested by the chrysler corp

ya that would be pontiac - and i dont really know much about them i do remmebr hearing something simular to "the first real american sports car in 30 years" or somethign like that i dont know where from and im not certian it was about the pontiac but i think it was
but if it was me i would be waiting for that saturn sky redline cuz im sure there pretty much the same (its GM so im sure same platform and drivetrain) but the saturn gets a turbo and well turbos make tq and tq makes fun! :P + i like sky styling better though i can see how some ppl would like the pontiacs styling better - but like i said i had no interest in them and know nothing about them except i saw somewhere some company does a 3800 supercharged swap on them - now i bet that would be a car!

They both look GREAT, the best-looking cars out in years, IMO.
Unfortunately, for the same price you can get a Miata that costs the same, weighs 450 lb. less, and is (slightly) more utilitarian.
I just wish they'd make the Solstice coupe.

The skye and solstice are the SAME car. They are built on the same platform, have the same engines, and have the same performance. I like to Pontiac better, and when the Solstice GTP comes out with the turbo (same as the Skye Redline) it will be a nice car.
If you look around, you will find a specialty car company that wil lput an LS1 into your Solstice. I think they even do the LS6 too. It essentially doubles the cost of the car, but it's still less than a vette. If you really want to beat on hte car, you will want to source a Getrag Cast iron rear diff to replace the aluminum one. I talked to a guy at Getrag who said the aluminum one is fine for the stock setup, but if oyu mod it very much, you will break it. The specialty co's use the iron diff in the LS1 and LS6 cars.

Oh yeah, it's BOXSTER, not "boxter". (stupid name either way)
And it's a mid-engined car, so the Solstice/Sky aren't really GM's answer to it. They're more like GM's 15-years-late and 450 lb.-overweight answer to the Miata. But they do look kick-ass at least!

it 05 right for the turbo miata - thats what i wanted but the sky redline may takes its place - i just wish they woudl turbo the lotus elise stock - that would be my car hands down

Hey - thanks for the input and corrections.
I go for looks for than anything and then get to other goodies. Started with Z cars that way and was lucky they perform as well as they look.
But again about looks - clothes may not make the man but they make-up for a lot at a distance:
