A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Does anyone like it? Give me some feedback. I just got it, and didn't do much to it yet.

A:
I guess that I don't care too much for the WHEELS but I like the color and it looks like a solid car.
edit: for some reason I said "weeks" instead of "wheels"

Give the guy a break, maybe he likes them. Though they do kind of have that Chrysler star shape thing going on in the center of them. Nice looking find for sure. If you would like some bumpers with a little more meat on them I’ll trade a perfect set off a 78’ for those. Just thinking of your safety guy. ;>
A:
We're Z guys of course we like it and of course someone is going to pick on some minor part.
The only thing that counts is do you like it?
Of course or you wouldn't have gotten it, unless you think you paid too much or some other.
The thing in life is - to heck with what anybody else thinks.
Are they paying for it? If they don't like the wheels are they going to buy you another set? If they don't like the color are they going to paint it for you?
Be content with yourself.
Be happy.

What size are those 84 300ZX wheels, they look like 16"s? I think we all like the car, but the wheels (from a 3rd generation car) don't really match the first generation look......My $.02
A:
Another Z w/ a TurboTip! Paint looks to need some polish, and definetly different rims to suit the time period of the car (those look to 80's ish, cause there from the 80's!)
- GC Coilovers, Eibach 225/250 race springs, Illuminas, XR3000, other odds-n-ends.
A:
I had Monzas on my old Z, except they were horiz not vert because the store didn't have verts. Looked pretty good, actually.
I'll echo the feelings re: the wheels. They look a little funky on the 1st gen.
You could lose the cute little racing side view mirror, too. I really like the stock chrome on a stalk. And I was never big on louvers, but ...
Looks like a nice car. I hope you enoy it very much.
Good luck.

CKelly: those are the 4 lug 84 300zx wheels from a non turbo. These wheels are 15 inch. Only the turbo got the 16 inch wheel which is a 5 lug.
As for the car as others mentioned it looks great but those wheels have to go. I love those wheels on my 84 300zx but they don't belong on a 70's car.

Yea I have the original mirrors, but they are trashed and I have new ones on the way. And yes I am not a huge fan of the wheels. they were there when i got the car. I like the size but not the style. I am saving up for new ones.

I think the car looks great. But, like everyone else says, the wheels must go. Try stock 79 280ZX wheels, I think they look great on 240Z's.

Looks like a good solid original car. Some 16 or 17 inch Rewinds would look awesome! I like 'em better without the rear window louvers too. But I think it's a great looking car overall. Paul

I like the car too, but I agree with them saying you need some new wheels. Here is my tip on the paint job.
After you new finish it, polish (with a polish) and wax it! ;-)
A:
Love the car, like the wheels. But you gotta do something about that ugly fence in the back.

1 word. Watanabees. That'll take care of your rim problem. Other than that you've got a really nice car there. And erzelda is right, the only opinion that matters is yours. You should like it, I do. If you don't want it I'll take it.
1972 240z w/L28, tokico shocks and springs, and a 5 speed waiting. Also running high performance ultra mega blinker fluid, that's at least an extra 50hp to the wheels.
