Got to start the day with both of my sons (19 & 16) taking me out to breakfast. This was a real treat for me since my oldest son has been working construction for the last year and a half and we have got to spend very little time together. It was good to have the family around a table again.
Spent a few hours working on the youngest son's ZX (installing new injectors) and helping my oldest son detail his truck.
Finished up the day meeting my Dad and Mom for dinner at his favorite restaurant, he is 71 and still going strong. He even brought us some fresh vegetables from his garden for us to enjoy. He is a great Dad and I hope one day my son's have as much admiration for their Dad as I do for mine.
Today was a gift and I am thankful. Hope all you Dad's out there had a great one and are blessed with many more in the future.

We're officially postponing Fathers Day for a week because our son is returning from Iraq tomorrow afternoon. Had two other sons return safely last year. I hope this is the last time. Now I know what my parents went through during Vietnam. It was another long year for all of us. The boys can't get over what an old Z feels like and the baby is nuts about it too. My better half just shakes her head!

we got rid of the kids and had some alone time ;).the wife and kids got me a cobra navigational system.it works awesome we used it when we went out.we went to dave and busters for dinner and games.met up with a buddy of mine and his son.it was a good day to be a dad.
