Today some of my football friends were going to come over and help me put my 78 280 on a rotisserie today, but due to injuries and some other reasons they didn`t make it. So I manage to put the car up on the stand myself. Have fun guessing how.

Jacking it up bit by bit and placing 2x4s under the car and the jack to raise it to the desired height? Or a hurnia?

I would have used my John Deere front end loader to lift one end of the car, then the other, but I suppuse a chainfall in the rafters would work as well.

Leave the chassis on the ground, flip the rotisserie upside down, bolt the chassis up, then roll the whole bloomin' thing over with your Popeye strength?

Lift it one end at a time.

Pfft, who needs a rotisserie? I just use telekinesis to hold my car in the air while I work on it.
In fact, who needs a car, I can just use my telekinetic powers to fly where ever I want to go...

i used to pull mopar big blocks and put them back in with a big tree branch and a cable type come along. short chain bolted thru the intake manifold. i was younger and bulletproof. the only hard part was lineing up the trans shaft into the pilot bearing while lining up the bell housing. once that was done it only took about 2 hrs to be driving it. of course that was after i had done it about 4 times.
