tire wear on 96 300ZX

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Several years after I bought my '96, I replaced the tires with Toyo's, these were fine for a couple of years, then they started to wear on the inside edge(front tires mostly). I had a mechanic check it out who builds street rods and he said that I must have a bad spring. So I had a set of Eibach progressive rate springs installed and also KYB struts. The tires where also replaced, now the problem is worst and on all 4 tires.
I read that there a shim kit available to adjust camber, is this what I need and is it hard to install?
Any help would be appreciated.

yes it is needed, and no its not hard to install..The install instructions come with the camber kit. did you have it aligned after you installed the springs?
whoever did the alignment should have given you a spec sheet of before and after the alignment.

Stillen makes the caster and camber adjusters for the front of the car. I installed them on my wifes car and they work very well. I also did the poly bushing master kit from stillen. I am very happy with the results, all total it cost me about 1000.00 but that was also with new rotors from stillen as well.
You increased your problem with the new springs, and you most likely did not have a spring problem, but rather a control arm bushing problem. The rubber gets warn, and throws off the camber on the front and the rear of the car.
The 300 90-96 has a very agressive front settin on the car, and you will see a llittle wear because of the factory adjustments, but not to the extent you are describing.
