ok, the vehicle is a 2004 honda civic VP.
i've changed the oil, but the check engine light still blinks at start-up. i know it does this to remind the owner to change the oil. how do i reset this light myself?

Theres usually set procedure to do it, might wanna look around on the net and find out. Dont know about Hondas but on GM cars it's all done from the inside using the controls and buttons and stuff inside the car.

On my 98 Accord you push in and hold the trip odometer reset button while you start up the car. Check the owners manual.
