A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Ive got a set of tripple carbs and a manifold that I want to clean up to sell. Its got lots of caked on goodness and I was wondering what some people use to help disolve that kind of stuff off with. Any personal favorites for chemicals?

Berryman's carb cleaner. Remember to wear goggles when using it. Get a good detail brush or a toothbrush and you'll have them looking like new in no time.

Shellac thinner, methyl alcohol is the standard carb. cleaner. Any place that sells paints will have it. DON"T drink it!
Rusty but running.
Polish cell phone and two tubes of Aluma-seal.
And, now we are historic.

I keep carb cleaner and paint thinner around for cleaning just about everything.
