Given it had full controllable Tein suspension .. but man do those stick to the road.
It was fairly stock with somwhere close to 400 to the wheels!
Only shitty part was that the company that installed teh fuel pressure gauge use to big hoses !!!! so it burst off in midflight .. sparying gasoline.. good thing we noticed imediatly and shut down.. but it could have cause a huge fire!
All in all if played smart this will sit on your doorstep from japan for round the 10K euro mark !!! ( minus rims and teins !)
I will have to start saving up!

I've only seen two since 1992 in the U.S., and the only R34 GTR I have ever seen is Rob Fuller's at the Zcar garage in San Jose. I wouldn't care if they were a dime a dozen, I still want one. One of the baddest of the bad.

It is not illegal to do so .. it is actually funny as people mostly dont think of the option of it being a rhd car.. so when your passanger in one, and the driver pulls something stupid.. the passenger gets the non verbal langauge LOL
Same when you get pulled over, they walk up to the pas side haha
Converting is not possible with a skyline as there never was a lhd model ( turbos would be in the way aswel !)

It is a real culture shock tho, I lived in the USA for over a year and there was a few instances where the lhd/rhd thing confused the heck out of me like seeing a dog in the passenger side, driving dog? lol And I lost count how many times I went to get into the passenger side of vehicles to drive, real confusing :P

LHD conversions are possible, the have been done. Not cheap or easy though.
If everyone else had a Skyline and I had a Skyline GT-R I wouldnt care. It's like the Ford Mustang thing here, everyone and thier mother has one but how many people are driving the supercharged Mustang Cobras? Not very many. But then again I imagine people who try to pass off a Regular Skyline as a GT-R are probably just as or more common than the people who try to make thier mustang look like a Cobra.
I'd love to have one, but they are way expensive and very rare here. Not to mention you would be the envy of ricers and wanna be drifters everywhere and people wouldnt leave you alone. Every Civic you see would want to race you.

yeah, over here (australia) everyone puts gtr badges on there gts or gtst's...
we have the four door models as well, which are, in my opinion, very cool, as you don't see many around
to my knowledge, we only ever got the r32gtr officially, the r33 and r34 have to be imported privately from japan...i've only ever seen a couple of r34's, and only one gtr, they are very impressive cars
a friend of mine sold his 1st gen RX7 and went test driving one of the non-turbo versions, and apparently he was severley dissapointed, i think the 2.5 litre turbo gtst would be fairly nice though
also, my brother has a 180sx....also very common over here...did you guys ever get that? or just the 240sx?

I live in Calgary, Canada and I have seen lots of skylines all the time. In Canada the basic rule is after its 15 years old its legal to drive. A perfectly mint R34 is illegal whereas a rusted-up-unsafe-at-any-speed Chevy is fine.
So there are a whole bunch of dumb wankers here who import these Skylines and IMMEDIATELY try to sell them for +20k.
Its quite funny because they go for dirt cheap (under 10k) at japanese auto auctions.

yah here in ottawa we have 4 gt R its nice to see them come here cause in the middle east just like australia there everywhere
my brother raced one of the 4 couple weeks ago in his 240zt he took off a stop but in a role my bro pulled away the guy was like running only 7 pounds and the 240 17 psi kinda strange, the gtr had dual ceramic turbos i was like wtf and for some reason i still dont believe he was running 7 psi!
