Ok, so I finally purchased a fairlady z car. I had been looking for three years for one, and I finally found one that I liked. This one is SUPER clean, in the respect that there is like NO rust what so ever, not in the floor pans, trunk well, frame rails, etc. This thing as never been in a harsh reck either, frame rails are perfectly straight as well. Comes even with the original spare, as well. Has mag wheels now, which I guess is ok. The owner took the original NAPS z equipment off for the reason that he couldnt get the sputtering out of the system. He has all of that originall equipment that goes with the car. It has a AZZCAR four barell manifold now, but thats going, and a set of SU's is going on for now, or maybe a 6 ITB setup and megasquirt, haha. Power windows, AC, and its a 76. Ok, heres some pics. It has been in Arizona since 88 to where there was a guy that imported it from the UK, so it has a CLEAN AZ title, which is NICE for me. There is ONE bad part though, its a 2 plus 2. I had been looking for a coupe, but havent come across any. So beggers cant be choosers. This is just gonna be a cruiser though, not a race car.

a 76 imported from the UK? why does it have a 280z lower valance then?

becasue some parts as i can see where changed for more available parts, maybe even to be in line with the us spec bumpers ?
Like the rear side lights they are added aswel, as neither the jspec, nor the eurospec have these! ( the indicaotors should not be there either!)

Brain do you want to sell the AZ manifold? as that would work on my supercharger project id think !

so the speedometer is only good for 112 mph and it has approximately 27,000 miles on the clock---Im guessing more than that though
just and observation---but cool stuff nonetheless, I would love to have a RHD Z
Did anyone notice that those power window switches appear to be stock? (I always wondered if there was such a thing due to the perforated cut-outs on the cardboard on the back of my door panels)

Since your S31 has electric windows it probably had remote adjustable fender mirrors. Too bad they are MIA.
But I see the factory A/C lines. Looks like it was a ZL model.
TonyD's 2/2 has manual windows, 69 ZCar's has electrics and remote mirrors.

Yea when it was imported they americanized alot of things, such as bumpers and what not. I dont have the remote mirrors, and yes it is a ZL model, is that rare or not? Yea thats my wife, she actually really likes the car, just caught the pic when she was thinking or something, LOL. Yea the AC is factory, and not aftermarket or dealer installed, it appears. The power window switches seem to be stock as well, and the door panels are flawless. I love the dual door opening levers as well, is that a ZL option or a 2+2 option?

See, everybody, FACTORY POWER WINDOWS IN AN S30! Told you they existed! Those doors WITH POWER WINDOWS are STILL lighter than the comparable intrusion beam equipped Stateside models.
