Hi folks,
Just checking out the classic car pages and came upon this. Am I reading this right? Is this the first one? What do you think?

VIN #189
A:
My a$$ it's number one. If it was and they didn't restore it completely to factory condition (which it's not) they're completely stupid. Besides that the first 10 or 20 were mules and test cars as far as I know. I want to see a pic of the VIN on the firewall. Until then they're full of it.

i remember reading an article about the first five being driven through some of the worst driving conditions in america, so i would imagine that they are propably locked up in some warehouse collecting dust..

Hi folks,
I didn't think the first Z would be available for public consumption. Does make you wonder where it is though. Oh well, another mystery solved. Well done gentleman. Then again, wouldn't you just give yourself a Bruce Lee kick in the butt if it was!

Has anyone bothered to contact him and find out if the VIN is actually #1?
Rather than sit here and criticize, I'm very skeptical as well, someone should just ask.
Too my knowledge, the first 6 cars were test mules that were abused and some used in crash tests for DOT approval.
