Bittersweet day

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

My wheels finally showed up, and they are awesome. 14X7 Konig rewind graphites. My MSA sway bar and torsion bar kits showed up yesterday, and my new mirrors came. My car is scheduled for a touch up on the rear end where it has two minor dings from the PO and it will be done for now. But....and it's a big one, my dog died today. She was the best dog I've ever had...hell the best dog I've ever seen. She had developed masses of tumors in her lungs and couldn't breathe anymore so we had to put her down =(.

It's hard.
I don't know what else to say, Piper. It's hard. I miss mine still.

A:

Yes it's hard to put down a pet. Until you think about the quality of life they were having.

I can't believe some people spend $15 on shifter bushings in the B trans

A:

Believe me, I don't feel bad about putting her down, I 'm all about going out still feeling semi good. I'm just going to miss her. She was just one of those dogs that you're lucky if you get one of in your lifetime. Probably won't get another dog for a while, since it would just be a disappointment in comparison.

My black lab is on her last limb too -- she's old and her hind legs are starting to give out on her, but I just can't put her down yet. I know what you mean, though -- it sucks losing a dog.

I feel your pain man, my 13 year old german can't make it up the stairs anymore. i have to carry a 100 pound dog upstairs every night and her eye sight is not what it once was . i have to toss her treats right at her mouth or she has no change of catching them. i have a picture of her when she was so small she would fit the center console of my z.
we spoil that dog rotten knowing theres only a few years left in the old girl. A good dog is more loyal and protecting of it's family than alot of people.
sorry about your dog

Poor dog. That's sad stuff.
Remember though,
"All dogs go to heaven"
Glad to know you did the right thing instead of letting it suffer. Some people just can't let go.
My condolences.
Cool stuff about the parts, on another note.
