A&Q about 350Z
Q:
i hate to bring this topic up here but i figure its car/parts related.
I posted up some items on eBay and none of them are available on my sellers list. Its been a full day? I know it may take several hrs for viewing but does anyone know of bugs on their site or seen this before?
A:
Oh I've seen it a bunch of times with my own auctions. It really does piss you off!!
Of course you can email ebay, but by the time you get a response from them three days later it's on ebay then and they say well it's there, so no problem!
That's Fee Bay for ya!

thanks norm. I did email them but I dont think they can really care.. I did put my auctions up for 5 days. I can always revise it for a full 7 days.

Considering the volume of items on ebay and the traffic on the servers a few bugs here and there are to be expected. It usually fixes itself within 2 days. Those 2 days probably won't make or break the auction, so i wouldn't be too worried.

sometimes your auctions may not show up in your "my ebay" but if you look them up in the category you listed them in they are there...and you can forget about ebay doing....or caring anything about it if they're not...lol...they could care less about sellers...

They make their money from sellers, so of course they care. Buyers don't pay any fees, only sellers. There are just so many of them that they can't give individual attention to every one who has a little problem.

I tell you what ebay is doing however they are fighting for us sellers because some states want everyone to have an auctioneers license to sell on ebay...and who do you think is pushing this?...auctioneers of course...who (not all) are some of the biggest crooks out there...but ebay sure allows the big auction houses to charge a "buyers premium"..which is the biggest con there is...

Ebay does give you a personal Rep once you attain Power Seller status.

I have no qualms with Ebay, it's an amazing concept that has turned into a great marketplace. They are so large however, issues will take time to resolve since they're dealing items in the millions. I wish it wouldn't be a place for bigger businesses to sell their stuff, I like the buying from individuals or small businesses aspect that used to be there.
Anyone own stock? They were genius to purchase paypal, making money off of every aspect of transactions. Me = impressed.

exactly seven day the big auction houses should stay away...and if you look they always have more negative feedbacks than anyone!....I complain alot about ebay but I make a good living from ebay...its really changed people lives..I just hope they dont screw it up...

It takes a while for their search engine to index everything so it takes a bit for your auctions to show in a search.
Don't worry, they should show eventually....
