whats it cost to ship my Z32 across country? (Sacramento to Detroit)
I'm trying to decide if 2000 miles on my car, 4 days of driving, $300+ of gas, and 3 hotels is worth it.

If you need a vacation and want to see the sights take the drive. ive always just trailered what i buy or sell and do the scenic drive.

i just shipped a car from southern CA to southern FL. It cost me $800.00. That was the cheapest i could find. every other quote was at least $100.00 more expensive.

At 25 MPG you would only spend $220 to go 2000 miles with an average of $2.75 a gallon ($2.55 a gallon where I live now).
Pack a cooler, and eat at road side rests.
Drive hard from first light till suppertime, and I bet you could be there in three days.
All of this doesn't sound very appealing until you consider taking a week to get there, and enjoying your vacation experience to take in the sites, and smell the roses.

I gave a coupla random thoughts on alternative possibilities, but really would reccomend the week long vacation.

I was looking to ship a car from both NY and Washington DC to San Jose, so basically East Coast to West Coast and got quoted $614 from Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS), so it is definately cheaper than trying to do it yourself. Good luck.
