A&Q about 350Z
Q:
More pics here....
and the car survived the drifting...but had a small incident at the house when I was unloading it and the other car...I kinda ripped the drivers door off.... :(
so I'll need a 260Z door, two fender, and two flares, and a new paintjob. Both fenders were rusted anyways, and this give me an excuse to get finish up the car finally.

yeah....I parked the Z in front of the garage, then the wife pulled up the subaru that had all the tires and tools in it behind it, well, I moved the subaru, and backed the Z down the driveway, and had the drivers door open, and forgot there was a tree.... crunch, snap, pop....
http://www.redpepperracing.com/gallery/v/airjockie/Z+body/
no sleep the day before, working that night before the event, and then playing all day in the sun, and the Z's heater was cranking all day...so I got used to inching forward in line with the cars while each car ran with the door open, and when I got home...that bad habit stuck...and the door is dead... and I almost snapped of the subaru's door that night as well....
But the event was a blast, and worth it....the track didn't even eat any tires...all day long, about 10-14 laps, and only the rears were half gone. hehe
I can't wait til the next event.... LimeRock on the 24th...

Body shop friend says he loves people who back with the door open. At least parts are available.
Anyone can drive a new car.

1978 280Z - I wish I had this much money in my 401K.

The flares were already on the car when I got it...some guy did the restore on the car and it sat in a garage for 13 years....and then I got it 3 years ago....so they are prolly about 16+ years old...whatever flares were availible 16 years ago...I have no clue. But I got to find out as well, and get the front flares and two fenders and try to match it up again, and repaint the car asap/asamia (as soon as money is availible)

At least you only broke the hinge and didn't tear the sheetmetal underneath.
1972 240Z always in progress

So does that huge wing give you 5 lbs of downforce at 45 mph while drifting sideways? :)

the wing was on the car when I bought it...and I liked it, so it stayed... :)

F54/P90 P&P, FI, 240sx TB, JSK TB adapter, JSK Fuel rail, fresh injectors, some rusty header, 2.5" pipe back to a turbo II muffler, ACT Heavy duty pressure plate, ACT 6 puck springless disk, 5 speed swap, solid diff mount, Nismo 2 way LSD R180 4.11, new bushing all the way around on the car, Tokico Illumina's, Tokico springs, and an armada of wheels and tires....hehe.
I need to get a turbo setup in the car, better fuel management, bigger sway bars....the list can go on forever...but the most important thing I need...is to learn to lift off the gas at the right time...I just sit in spin city most of the time....but then agan...doughnuts are fun too....and for $105 to do doughnuts all day in a safe area with no cops...is worth it. :)

Where did you get the front air dam? It is hard to find one with the bottom corners squared off instead of rounded.
I refuse to tip toe through life, only to arrive safely at death.
A:
it was also on the car when I bought it...so I'm clueless on what brand it is. I have another airdamn going on, and if your interested...make an offer on the one I'm taking off...
