I turned on my pc today and found a folder on one of my external hard drives called "b3fc3f8f71f3136180027cb8" inside this folder is a file named "msxml4-KB27978-enu" that opens in notepad. I've tried googling the file name and just got a load of waffle from microsoft but nothing that actualy says what this file does, or why it was installed on an external drive! anyone have any clues?

msxml4-KB27978-enu sounds like an auto-update thing from microsoft. if you google KB27978 i bet you'd find out what update. dunno y its on ur ext hard disk tho. windows works in strange ways.
