I've just had a read and I don't know wtf he's talking about (except that it may not even meet the November release date!).
The guy was basically saying that the "PS3" shown at E3 was empty (the "PS3" that was running the demos was basically a size of a pc) and that by the time Sony release the PS3 the XB360 will have over 10 million units already in homes.
Oh and the issue with the Cell chips and them not being able to produce them at a high level (quantity and quality).....
Apart from that he didn't really say much else I just wish it would hurry up and come out, I just want to play the new MGS

Nintendo Wii is going to rock. Another first for Nintendo, proper motion sensor control pads. They were the first with full analogue control pads too, Sony jumped on that bandwagon.
Cant wait to get my hands on one, will probably be dirt cheap too, and the whole Nintendo back catalogue available for download onto the Wii!!

yeah, i think you hold the pad in one hand & use the thumb stick to run around then use the motion sensor in the other & do things like flicking it up to make him jump & twirl it to do the spin & grab stuff.
I think the pad will bring more people into games which is a good thing.

Absolutely. Innovation has always been Nintendo's "Ace Card" (see what i did there, Nintendo started with playing cards) Shigeru Miyamoto is God!!
I havent been this excited about Nintendo since "Project Reality".

I think the Nintendo machine will be so unique & far out there, that some people might want to own one as well as a ps3.

In the past i owned a SNES & Megadrive, N64 & Playstation (Ignored the Saturn), Gamecube & PS2 (Ignored the Dreamcast), would be rude not to continue the tradition.

me niether, but if a newer version Gran Turismo comes out for it and comes in a bundle with a wheel/pedals I'll seriously be thinking again! The only game I played was GT on the last PS (a bit of GTA too) Until then, sod it...

Blueray players currently cost about £500-600 on their own though, and this has one built in. So in theory its pretty good value, but i expect Blueray players will drop to around £300 when the PS3 actually gets released.

yeah no doubt about the blueray players coming down in price.
more to the point how many 'man on the street' know much about blue ray anyway. this all relies on it taking off...
the upgrade from vhs to dvd was huge, but will people take as quickly to blueray or hddvd, i am not so convinced.
ps2 dvd wasnt exactly great quality, i would rather have a dedicated dvd player.
