No, it's not my first choice, but it's the closes place to me and I was getting to the point where I just had to get one asap.

Tried to go with what was suggested but they don't have a great choice. I am sure I could have got a better deal, but I didnt have days to research. And this one looks good and performs great for me. All these extra options are useless unless you are going to use them, I saw it, I liked it and I bought it and I'm still happy and would thoroughly recommend it.

I didnt want to get it mail order as I had a lot of work to do on my pc this weekend so needed something urgently.
The Philips is 1MS slower then the Samsung but the contrast ratio is better on the Philips 800:1 compared to 500:1, regardless it looks the business!
The samsung comes out at £169, I paid £30 more and got it there and then, so it was worth it for me.
Top man to you and the others for the effort you all put in to help me choose, it is very much appreciated.
