Found this link to the guy's site who we were chatting to with the VLN mk2 Golf @ the 'ring
Back to the car park, SteveR has a bunch of British Golf fans checking out his mk2 - He's (And his Dad!) made a top job of a neat stripped 16v track car with it's recent Megasquirt ECU set up, AW tracksport dash and loads of other toys.
Of course I can't go anywhere without someone asking if I'm 'gvk' and do I have a black mk2 track car , black wheels.. yes that's me.
These guys have taken it to another level though and race a 194bhp mk2 16v in the VLN endurance races at the 'ring , we have a good old chat about techie stuff with them.. Very interesting,they removed the throttle bodies...

Note : nothing fancy in the front brake dept.. and they race this car on the 'ring !

ive worked on the auteg-vln golf. bloody thing. watched go from a road car to that.
