Where to Buy VW Motorsport Parts?

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

As title, where can you buy them, or see a catalogue of the,.
Specifically the New Polo parts, like the VW Cup Polo's.
Just bought one, and fancy a few motorsporty additions for it if there is anything available.
Have got the part numbers of the cup car bumpers etc already.
Cheers Ta

They don't exist AFAIK. VW Cup Polo is built / run by Racing Line, on behalf of VW UK, developed in house and without a catalogue produced (or at least released). Not sure where you got bumper part nos...!
Other than that you're looking at the other end of the scale ie a Super 1600, which is so far removed anyway.

Shame, thought there might be some smart little upgrades for it
Dont think the Polo Cup car is a UK only thing though?
They actually released a Polo GTI Cup edition in Europe, which looks like the Cup car, hence the part numbers, VW UK didnt see a market for it, so it wasnt released in the UK

A:

Ah, Polo Cup series in Germany - forgot about that.
Hmmm, there must be info somewhere, though whether they'll release it...

Afternoon lads. Just asked my boss (racing line) and he said that you can't buy the cup kits anywhere other than from germany. We got our polo kit dirrect from VW racing germany. Unless you can find any part numbers for the german stuff and try ordering it from germany, as uk vw wouldn't be able to get hold of it.
The kit that we got came by itself with no sort of fitting instructions, but it did come with plastic wings.
You could try going to the VW racing website and contact the german side of it through there. Apparently their pretty good at english.
Hope this helps a bit!
A:

Sounds like there may be a catalogue somewhere....
I presume you couldn't use the plastic wings?
A:

Yeah we did use them. We converted an older look (twin headlamp) polo to the new shape one. Just a case of changing the radiator carrier, wings, bumpers etc...
I don't think there is a catalogue as we had to source them dirrectly from germany, the people that run the cup over there. Don't think they generally supply the kits to the public though i'm affraid.

It wasnt really the Body Parts i was interested in, i was more hoping that there would be Chassis/suspension tweaks?
I know Milltek do the Exhausts, downpipes and systems and the Suspension is KW, But what about Anti-roll bars?
Eibach and H&R only do a front bar, the only place that do a rear one is Jabba.
It mentions a braced rear beam on one of the sites in the Polo spec, but as to what this i i've no idea.

Could this be something similar to the Reeve's Mk1 rear beam - or the Mk4 item in the Motorsport Kit Porn Thread? Triangulated, rose-jointed bars connecting from the bottom of the struts, to the middle of the rear beam - I think for maintaining rear-toe stability.
A:

Possibly similar to these:

We used the Eibach front anti roll bar for ours and we couldn't find a rear. So we took a beetle RS rear anti roll bar that we had lying about and fabricated some brackets to make it fit in the groove on the front side of the beam. We also needed to stiffen up the rear a little more so we did this:-
But, and it's BIG but, since Gwydaf drove it at silverstone he found that it was WAY to stiff and the car was almost jumping round the corners.
As far as shocks etc. go we use the KW items, but i'm not sure the ones we use can be bought for road use. You wouldn't want them on the road tbh though, it'd be WAY to stiff.
Exhaust - our MD has majour links with Miltek so we use them, it's a really nice system which doesn't sound to loud at all. I'd say it'd be fine for road use.

Found some outline info from the Polo-Cup, on the German VW Motorsport site
A:

That rear setup looks like the reeves mk1 style.

try vw racing mate

That rear setup looks like the reeves mk1 style. Inspiration taken straight of the Mk3 Golf Kit Cars.

Thought so.
