A&Q about 350Z
Q:
i have a standard car which id like to lurn how to get the most of. i dont fancy doing this on the public highway.
id like to take it to the track and test my driving skills, but its obvously a little slow for mixing it with the faster cars.can i go out onto the circuit with people that are doing the same thing????
plus should i do anything to the car make sure im gonna make it home!!! due to funding, this isnt gonna be a regular thing but im gasping to get out on the circuit and dont want to build a spercific car just to blast around the track when funds allow!
any info gladly recieved.
matt

you will need to do a novice day there is one we are doing on the 9th dec and they will tell you everything and they can take you out and show where your going wrong
A:
there's no reason why you can't take your car on a 'normal track day'.
As is always the case there is bound to be someone quicker than you there so drive round at your own pace and keep an eye on your mirrors for other cars looming up on you... even if you're quicker than them on the straights.
Above all don't try and drive above your limits and have fun!
A:
and as for making sure your car makes it home... before you go treat your car to some fresh oil, check your brake pads still have plenty of wear left (they'll take a real hammering on track), check water levels, PAS fluid, brake fluid.
whilst you're there make sure you keep an eye on your tyre pressures and bleed/add air as necessary.

Cupratis,
who's we, is it a CGTi track day you're refering to? Can you give/point me in the direction of some more info? I notice you're location is Kent and I'm not a million miles away in West Sussex so I'm assuming its a track down this way.
I too haven't done a track day before and want to give it a whirl!!
Thanks,
Sam

A:
Yeah I'm quite up for it. Do I just ring the number direct and book straight with them or does it go through you? I've had a look on their website and its just listed as a novice trackday anyone can go to. Wasn't sure if I should mention the forum or not.
A:
yes mention it mate as it go's towards our extras
A:
thanks for the info guys. much appreciated
A:
Cupratis,
so just ring the number and book as if I was any random but then mention the forum so they know where I've seen it advertised. Should I mention CGTi forum or your SEAT one (appologies can't remember the name)
