A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Hi there,
Only joined a couple of days ago. A friend and I have bought a Mk2 Golf that has already been track prepped so that we can just use it on trackdays. Some people on here already know the car (and the previous owner, Nick ) We are going on our first trackday in the Golf next weekend (18th) to Barkston Heath with Javelin Trackdays.
Just wondering if anyone else is going from here?
Or if anyone has been before and has any tips?
Thanks
Rob

Use your mirrors, have fun and dont try too hard if its your first go. If a lower spec car catches you up its faster than you, let them past at a safe place and if necessary back of the throttle a bit to let them get in front.
Keep an eye on the fluid levels (oil water etc) check tyre pressures and inflate-deflate as necessary. And check your wheel bolts as they can loosen over time.
Take lots of pics and run a camcorder so we can see what you got up to !
Enjoy !
p.s welcome to the forum

Sorry, i should have made it clear that we have been on trackdays before and to the Ring
Although that is all very good advice to novices
I meant has anyone got any tips specifically for Barkston Heath? And yes we will be taking plenty of pics and vids and will post them up for anyone interested
Thanks
Rob
