Um yes... I just thought it was cool. Want me to explain how an Anti lag system works?
Basically... Turbo engines can suffer from lag when you lift off the throttle becuase of the inlet gas slowing down as the plenum closes (yes?)
Anti-lag is a system whereby the ECU changes the ignition timing when you back off the throttle, this causes a misfire becuase the gasses are ignited in the exhaust pipe instead of in the cylinder ,due to the spark plug firing earlier (later?). This combustion in the exhaust pipe spins up the turbo ready for when you put your foot back on the loud pedal thus eliminating lag.
The system doesnt do your fuel comsumption or engine and good and is usually reserved for race engines.
