Cool pics, the Lupo's discs are hmmmmmm damn hot
A:

Nice one Daz. a lot of 3-wheeling action captured.
Bills hot brake shots, bloomin' hell.
A:

nice pics.
loving the ibiza exhaust and front arches. do you have rears to match or are they just pulled out a bit more?

bigger brakes needed on the lupo? what set up does it have at the moment?
looks like a good attendance which bodes well for a few 'en-mass' trackdays next year!
A:

mrsB lupo.... was going to run ibiza but things worked against me.. so mrsB kindly let me thrape her lupo.
brakes worked a treat. basic G60 stuff, 280's (ATE power disk style) with ds2500 ferodo's and motul racing brake fluid. stop tastic, zero fade.
last session I was pressing on which seems to have heated things up nicely.. lol
great fun, great track, good chatting to peeps, and some superb pictures from Daz. nice.
daily driver shopping car..

it must be nice to have an understanding mrs! sounds like the brakes were up the the task then. loving the wrc style glow from them in the photos, i would be adding them to your scrapbook and maybe even the garage wall!
p.s. need to give you shout about a 16v engine that has come into a friends possesion, it's fitted with your tb's. will compile a list of questions and send them over by pm.
A:

awesome pics, looks like it was a good day.
Great brake shots of Mrs Bs lupo.

MrsB is top wife.
lucky bloke I am.
Daz did some fantastic piccies... made my day when I saw them...
knew they were hot by the smoke coming out of em when I returned to the pits..
(was trying harder on my last session having been very respectful to the tyres and stuff up to that point. Had an ex Rover race car I "had" to pass... despite his slicks.. turned my driving wick up.. and red hot was the result. Not that you'd have known from inside the car at the time.
You got to love DS2500's and decent brake fluid & disks.

wheel lifting front wheel!

Hehe cool, were those latter pics from Scott @ trackphoto.co.uk Bill?
A:

Great fun day out - cold but dry - first time out in anger this year after winter mods and then blowing engine - car went well, very quick now with new engine and loads more grip than previous now wider front end with bigger wheels and tyres - only passed by a caterfield and a radical all day so gotta be happy with that (and had no probs at all breezing past rover Billo LOL). Currently dabating whether to wide track rear with bigger arches like front and a VR6 rear beam but might just leave it for now and use it, feels ok like it is tbh, we'll see.
Cheers
Rob

hehe... nor did I when I drove faster..
was being very respectful to the lupo... tyres and all... no sliding until my last session when I turned my wick up driving wise.
Wish I had my ibiza there, but I'm glad I did'nt as been playing with it today on new boost controller and the wastegates sticking.
I hope mine turns in as well as yours looked when following.. Was looking forward to chasing when your bonnet popped up and spoiled it.
You remember that green mk1 golf.. it had a honda engine in it apparently.. thought it sounded well crispy and revvy.
nice day. enjoyed it.
A:

Liking the various photos.
The Pickle makes a welcome return!
And Mr B - is that planet Saturn inside yer rims
A:

The mk1 with the Honda motor is Ray268 on here, he was at a Cadwell day with Ian and Alex in the summer.

You 'az got it wrong, dat is da bass box innit bruv?
A:

funny people - yes its for a reason ! - this is a race car and they are very tight on sound levels and I am sick of spending money on exhaust systems as the car destroys them - now there are no silencers under the car, just one on the back that is BIG (so very good at silencing - 100db tailpipe @ 6K rpm), repackable (so will continue to be good at silencing), and a long way from the engine so hopefully some heat will have gone from the exghaust gas by the time it gets there to make it last longer - and personally, I LIKE IT ! good enough ?
A:

Great day had by all i spoke to, good to see a few regular faces looking forward to next years outings.
